**Iran claims attack on Bahrain, claims of destruction of US base**
Iran has claimed to have destroyed a US air base in Bahrain. This information was reported in a report by Al Jazeera on Tuesday (March 3).
According to the news, footage published by the Fars News Agency, affiliated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), showed multiple rockets exploding at distant targets. It claimed that the IRGC's drone and missile attacks destroyed a US command and staff building in the Sheikh Issa area of Bahrain, along with an air base, and caused explosions in fuel tanks.
However, the United States has not yet officially commented on this.
Earlier, smoke was seen rising from a US-run naval base in Bahrain.
Meanwhile, the US State Department has ordered US citizens stationed there to leave Bahrain immediately, along with a dozen other countries in the Middle East.
