The United States could attack Iran today!
The United States may attack Iran today!
US President Donald Trump may authorize an attack on Iran this weekend. Senior US officials have already informed the leadership of allied countries in the Middle East of this information. Officials have even said that the attack may begin on Sunday (February 1).
Multiple sources confirmed this information in a report, according to the US media Drop Sight News.
A former senior intelligence official who works as an advisor to Arab governments said, "This attack is not about nuclear weapons or missile programs. It is mainly related to regime change."
He told Drop Sight News that US war planners are planning attacks targeting Iran's nuclear facilities, "ballistic and other military facilities. However, its goal is to destroy the leadership and capabilities of the Iranian government, especially the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The IRGC is a branch of Iran's armed forces that was created after the 1979 revolution and whose leadership now plays a significant role in the country's politics and economy.
Sources say that the Trump administration believes that if the attack on the Iranian leadership is successful, protesters will take to the streets. As a result, the government will be overthrown.

The former intelligence official also said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also waiting for a US attack on Iran. He assured Trump that Israel can help form a new government in Iran that is friendly to the West.
Two senior Arab intelligence officials told Drop Sight that they have received information that a US attack on Iran could occur at any moment.
Regional countries in the Middle East have continued diplomatic efforts until the last minute to avoid war between Washington and Tehran. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met Turkish leaders on Friday to advance a possible diplomatic solution.
Meanwhile, Ali Larijani, the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said that work is progressing on a framework for talks despite the heated situation.

In a post on social media on Saturday (January 31) local time, Larijani said that work is progressing on the formation of a framework for talks beyond the artificial media war. However, he did not give any details about this framework or the content of the talks.
Meanwhile, reporters asked Trump on Air Force One on Saturday what his latest thoughts were on Iran. He initially refused to answer, but later said, "We have strengthened massive military assets in the region. Hopefully they (Tehran) will discuss something that is acceptable."
Iran may be more encouraged if the attack is not carried out, Trump said in response to reporters' questions about the Saudi defense minister's comments, "Some may think so. Some may not think so."
Trump claims that India will buy oil from Venezuela, not Iran
US President Donald Trump has claimed that India will buy oil from Venezuela instead of Iran in the near future. The idea of such a deal has already been made.

Trump made these comments in front of reporters on Saturday (January 31) on Air Force One. At that time, he was traveling from Washington DC to Florida. Reuters reported.
Trump said, "We have already made this deal, the idea of the deal has been made. India is coming and they will buy Venezuelan oil instead of Iran." He also said that China is also welcome to make such an oil deal with the United States.
The comments came a day after Washington told Delhi that India could soon start importing Venezuelan oil, in a bid to reduce its oil imports from Russia. The move is aimed at reducing Russia’s war fund, which is being used in the Ukraine war.
While relations are good now, US-Venezuela relations were rocky before the January 3 abduction of Nicolas Maduro. The US imposed a 25 per cent tariff on India’s oil imports from several countries, including Venezuela, in March last year. Recent diplomatic pressure and talks between India and the US have suggested that this situation may be changing. The Indian government has not yet made any official comment on the matter.
Analysts say Trump’s announcement could change the balance of power in the international energy market and the Global South, especially given India’s traditional oil relations with Russia and Iran.
